Product Details

Isocyanates are a general class of compounds consisting of various esters of isocyanic acid (HNCO). They can be mainly categorized into four groups: alkyl monoisocyanates, substituted phenyl monoisocyanates, α-substituted alkyl isocyanates, and polyisocyanates. Typical examples include toluene diisocyanate (TDI), diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI), isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI), polymethylene polyphenyl polyisocyanate (PAPI), and hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI).

Due to their unique chemical properties and excellent reactivity, isocyanates are widely applied in the production of plant protectants, pesticides, herbicides, plant growth regulators, and antitumor drugs. Their polymer derivatives are also extensively used in the manufacture of pigments, resins, textile water-repellent agents, plastics, detergents, foams, elastomers, adhesives, coatings, and other industrial materials.
