Products Description of Sodium Hyaluronate CAS#9067-32-7

Sodium hyaluronate, also known as sodium glycosaminoglycan, is a naturally occurring physiological active substance widely distributed in the human body. It is a high-molecular-weight linear mucopolysaccharide composed of repeating disaccharide units of glucuronic acid and acetylated hexosamine, with a molecular weight of approximately 1 million.

When dissolved in water, sodium hyaluronate forms a viscous and elastic solution with physiological pH and ionic strength. Its molecular structure can vary, allowing it to be administered through fine syringes for specific applications. The non-inflammatory components extracted from sodium hyaluronate are known as Healon.

When 10 mg of this product is dissolved in 1 ml of physiological saline, the resulting solution exhibits viscosity up to 200,000 times higher than that of aqueous humor or physiological saline. Healon contains less than 0.5% protein and is characterized as a sterile, highly purified solution with excellent performance and reliability.
