Product Description of Antioxidant 1010 CAS#6683-19-8
Antioxidant 1010 is a high-molecular-weight, multifunctional hindered phenol antioxidant. It is soluble in organic solvents such as benzene, acetone, and chloroform, while being insoluble in water. The product features non-polluting, non-coloring properties, low volatility, and excellent resistance to extraction.
It is widely used in polyethylene, polypropylene, polyoxymethylene, ABS resin, PS resin, PVC, engineering plastics, rubber, and petroleum products. Antioxidant 1010 provides outstanding oxidation resistance, particularly in polypropylene and polyethylene systems, effectively helping to extend the service life of finished products.
When used together with auxiliary antioxidants such as DLTDP and Antioxidant 168 in polypropylene resin, Antioxidant 1010 can significantly enhance thermal stability. It is considered one of the most outstanding phenolic antioxidant varieties currently available.
The typical recommended dosage is 0.1%–0.5%. Due to increasingly strict environmental protection regulations in developed regions, traditional tin-containing products are gradually being replaced by tin-free alternatives.

Product Application of Antioxidant 1010 CAS#6683-19-8
Antioxidant 1010 is widely used in polyolefins, including polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene, and olefin copolymers such as ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers. It is also recommended for the processing and stabilization of various polymers, including polyacetals, polyamides, polyurethanes, polyesters, PVC, styrene homopolymers and copolymers, and ABS.
In addition, Antioxidant 1010 is suitable for elastomers such as butyl rubber (IIR), SBS, SEBS, EPM, and EPDM, as well as other synthetic rubbers, adhesives, natural and synthetic tackifying resins, and various other organic substrates.
