Product Application of Sodium Dihydrogen Citrate CAS#18996-35-5
Sodium dihydrogen citrate is used as a buffering agent and sequestrant. It also serves as a reducing agent and stabilizer in the preparation of Fe₃O₄ platinum core/shell particles. In addition, it is used in the electrochemical reduction of protons at carbon fiber electrodes in the presence or absence of platinum nanoparticles.
Sodium dihydrogen citrate also plays a useful role in the characterization of carbon-based electrode materials used as cathodes in half-cell configurations.
