Product Application of Peppermint Oil CAS#8006-90-4
Peppermint oil is known for its refreshing, cooling, bactericidal, and anti-irritant properties. It is also widely used as a fragrance ingredient. However, peppermint oil may cause allergic reactions, such as hay fever, skin rashes, and irritation, particularly when the oil is covered with a dressing.
Peppermint oil is extracted from the leaves of the peppermint plant, and menthol accounts for more than 50% of its content.
