Product Application of Sodium Lignosulfonate CAS#8061-51-6
Sodium lignosulfonate is mainly used as a cement water-reducing agent. It promotes the dispersion of cement particles, improving the fluidity of the mixture while reducing water consumption and helping save cement. When used in oil drilling mud formulations, it can reduce mud viscosity and shear force, thereby improving the flow properties of drilling fluids. It also helps keep inorganic mud and inorganic salt impurities suspended, preventing mud flocculation. In addition, sodium lignosulfonate offers excellent salt resistance, calcium resistance, and high-temperature resistance.
It can also be used as a concrete water-reducing agent, an oil drilling mud dispersant, and in printing and dyeing applications.
