Products Description of Acetone Oxime (DMKO)
Acetone oxime (DMKO), also known as dimethyl ketone oxime, is a white flaky crystalline solid at room temperature. It has a relative density of 0.9113, a melting point of 60°C, a flash point of 47.2°C, and a boiling point of 134.8°C. Its LD50 toxicity value is 5500 mg/kg.
DMKO is readily soluble in water, alcohols, ethers, and other common organic solvents, with a saturated solubility of approximately 25% (mass fraction) in aqueous solution. It exhibits neutral solubility in water.
The compound is easily hydrolyzed in dilute acid conditions and is capable of decolorizing potassium permanganate at room temperature.

Product Usage of Acetone Oxime (DMKO)
Acetone oxime is primarily used as a chemical oxygen scavenger in industrial boiler feedwater systems. Compared with conventional boiler deoxygenation agents, it offers advantages such as low dosage, high deoxygenation efficiency, non-toxicity, and no environmental pollution.
It is an ideal chemical for shutdown protection and passivation treatment of subcritical boilers, and also serves as a preferred alternative to traditional deoxygenators such as hydrazine in medium- and high-pressure boiler feedwater systems.
