THUV-328 is a highly effective UV absorber capable of absorbing ultraviolet light within the wavelength range of 270–340 nm. It features stable performance, low toxicity, and excellent UV absorption efficiency. It is suitable for use in food-contact plastic packaging materials and children's plastic products.
THUV-328 offers good compatibility with a wide range of polymers and also exhibits antioxidant properties, allowing it to be used together with conventional antioxidants. As a high-performance UV absorber, it has a maximum UV absorption peak at 345 nm. Its photostability is comparable to that of UV-326 and UV-327, while providing better resin compatibility, lower thermal volatility, and improved resistance to washing.
It is widely applied in polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride, polyester, epoxy resin, ABS resin, and cellulose resin systems. In addition, THUV-328 provides excellent light stabilization effects in various coating applications.
